“March 8, which was recognized as an international day by the United Nations in 1977, is a day of unity and solidarity celebrated all over the world in defense of women's rights and longing for equality, freedom and a peaceful society. Our women, who have an impact on every period of our lives, have gained a role in various areas of society and have made their presence felt with all their strength in shaping our society. Our women, who are active in politics, art, science, law, in short, in all areas of life, have been our sources of pride with their achievements from time to time. Woman is love, compassion, labor. In short, women are the cornerstone of our society that makes us who we are. With these feelings and thoughts, I sincerely congratulate all the women of the world and our country on ’March 8, International Working Women's Day“ and wish them a lifetime of health, happiness, success and equality throughout their lives.”
